Listed Private Equity Expertise

SS&C ALPS Advisors pioneered access to listed private equity with the creation of the Global Listed Private Equity (GLPE) Index in 2007. With daily valuation and daily liquidity, global listed private equity provides access to private equity, an asset class that has historically had high barriers to entry due to investor qualification, long lock-up periods and high initial investment minimums.

Since 2007, SS&C ALPS Advisors has identified over 350 publicly listed firms globally with a total market capitalization of over $1.5 trillion that: 1) buy or invest in private companies, 2) partner with management teams to grow and enhance companies and 3) exit the investment after 7-10 years, using proceeds to invest in new private company opportunities.
